- Not the news we were hoping for today but we will get through this!
- The Liver Biopsy results came back as there being a tumor in the Liver
- DR Sipahi also believes that the scans are showing a very small spot on outer kidney and in right lung as well as the right femur bone.
- We are going back to University of Chicago on Monday to see DR Peabody about the leg
- DR Sipahi thinks we might need a steel rod put in for strength, although Gina is not feeling any pain in her leg right now.
Keep up those wonderful prayers and kind words because the FAITH in God and all of you is stronger than any medicine will ever be!

Gina, you are never far from our thoughts. On Thursday we lit a candle for you at 6am- it burned until we were able to get an update from your day around midnight. Through out the day we said the rosary, and said several silent prayers for you.- I was so glad to hear that Thursdays procedure went so well.- You were surrounded in a prayer hug from so many.- you can not even begin to imagine how many people are praying for you- many people who you have never even met. your on our mind and in our prayers. The following is an excerpt from an email my Mom sent me tonight. I copied and pasted a couple of parts and adapted them accordingly.
God still sits on the throne; the devil is a liar. You may be
going through a tough time right now, but God is getting ready to bless you in a way that you cannot imagine.
THE POWER OF PRAYER. I believe that God only gives three answers to prayer:
1. 'Yes!'
2. 'Not yet.'
3. 'I have something better in mind.'
Let all who read this say a prayer for our friends Bob and Gina......
Father, I ask You to bless my friends, Bob, Gina, their children Bailey, Riley, and Jesse. Gina is a very selfless woman. Please put your hand on her and relieve her guilt, the guilt I know she is feeling for her husband Bob, for her children and everyone who is helping right now. In Your way, let her know it is okay to lean on her friends and family now, with out feeling like a burden. Please put your hand on Bob and restore his soul with energy, hope, and fight. Let him know that he can lean on his friends and family too. Lastly, help Bailey, Riley and Jesse realize that they are witnessing human kindness and compassion at it's greatest. Help them realize that people can be counted on and that they care. Let them learn from their parents fine examples of courage in the face of fear and their determination to keep fighting no matter what comes their way. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
